Free AI dream interpretation, explained
Most "free dream dictionary" sites work the same way: you look up a symbol — a snake, water, falling — and get back a generic paragraph that was written once and reused for every visitor who searches that word. This analyzer works differently. You describe the actual dream in your own words, and an AI model reads the whole thing — the setting, the people in it, what happened, how you felt — before responding. The result is closer to what a friend who's good at listening would say than a dictionary entry.
What Luna looks at
Luna, the AI dream guide behind both this page and the MysticLab app, doesn't work off a fixed list of symbol meanings. It reads for the emotional shape of the dream first — fear, longing, relief, confusion — and treats the objects and people in it as part of that shape rather than as isolated codes to decode. A dream about being chased reads differently if you're calm the whole time than if you're panicking, and Luna's reading reflects that difference. It draws loosely on ideas from Freudian and Jungian dream psychology, folklore, and modern trauma-aware therapy language, but it isn't running a script for any one of those schools — there's one voice, and it answers in plain language rather than clinical jargon.
Privacy on this page
You don't need an account to use this analyzer, and what you type here isn't saved to a personal dream journal the way it would be in the app — this page has no concept of "your" journal at all. Your dream text is sent to our AI provider to generate the reading and briefly logged on our servers to operate the service and guard against abuse; it's not sold or used to build an advertising profile of you. Full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
What this tool doesn't do
This is a single-turn, one-off reading — you get one response and Luna doesn't remember it afterward. It won't ask you clarifying questions, won't track recurring symbols across dreams you've had before, and it isn't a diagnosis or a substitute for therapy. If a dream is connected to something you're genuinely struggling with, a few sentences of AI interpretation is a starting point for reflection, not an answer. For dreams that keep recurring, or for context-aware readings that build on your dream history over time, that's what the full MysticLab app is for.
Getting a better reading
The more of the actual dream you include, the more specific the reading can be. Mention what you felt, not just what happened — "I was relieved" versus "I was terrified" changes the interpretation of the same events. If you want to go deeper on a specific symbol afterward, browse our dream meaning dictionary, or start keeping a journal — our guide to dream journaling covers what actually helps you remember dreams in the first place.
