What MysticLab does

In the order you meet it: capture first, then Luna, then the patterns that build over time.

Voice or text capture

Speak your dream half-asleep or type it. Your phone's own speech recognition turns voice into text; MysticLab never receives audio.

Luna, your dream guide

Luna reads your dream, reflects it back and asks a follow-up question. One voice that draws on modern psychology, Freud and Jung, and symbolic readings.

A journal you can search

Every dream stays in one place. Search it, and open any entry to see the symbols, people, places and feelings in it.

What keeps coming back

Symbols, people and places are counted as they return: seen once, a trace; twice, a pair; in three dreams or more, a motif.

Mood map

Each dream carries one of eight moods. The mood map shows how your nights have felt, with a streak ring and badges along the way.

Weekly insight and Deep Analysis

A short read of your last seven nights every week, and a Deep Analysis of your whole journal once it holds 15 dreams.

Every feature in detail

What each part does, and what it doesn't. For the step-by-step, see how MysticLab works.

Voice or text capture

Catch the dream before it fades

Dreams slip away fast after waking, so capture comes first. Open MysticLab and say or type what you remember. A fragment is enough to start.

  • Voice: speak the dream half-asleep and it's turned into text
  • Text: type as much or as little as you remember
  • Guest mode: record one dream and hear from Luna before you create an account
  • Built for 3am: a dark interface that is easy on half-open eyes

Every dream you record goes into your journal, where it starts to count toward the patterns further down this page.

Where your voice goes

Speech is turned into text by your phone's own speech recognition — on the device where it supports that, otherwise by Apple's (iPhone) or Google's (Android) speech service. MysticLab never receives or stores audio.

Luna, your dream guide

One guide, one voice

Luna reads what you wrote, reflects it back in plain words and asks a follow-up question to take you further. She blends modern psychology, depth psychology in the tradition of Freud and Jung, and symbolic readings, reaching for whichever fits the dream. There are no personas to pick from.

  • Follow-up questions: a conversation instead of a one-off verdict
  • Memory you control: Luna can offer to remember something about your waking life; it is saved only if you tap Keep
  • Your language: English and Turkish (on iPhone, Turkish arrives with the next update); Luna answers in the language the app is set to
  • The traditions: read about the lenses Luna draws on

Want to hear her before installing? The free web analyzer gives you a short reading from Luna, no account needed.

What Luna is not

Luna is a guide for reflection, not a therapist. She doesn't diagnose anything or predict the future.

Dream journal

Your dreams, and what they have in common

Every dream you record stays in one journal. Search it to find a dream again, and open any entry to see the symbols, people, places and feelings in it.

  • Search: find any dream by the words in it
  • Recurring view: seen once, a trace; twice, a pair; in three dreams or more, a motif
  • People in dreams: a parent, a friend, a stranger — the people who come back are followed too
  • Badges: First Spark at your first dream, Pattern Reader at 5, Lucid Mystic at 15

Patterns take time. The longer you keep the journal, the more there is to see.

More about the dream journal

Why three dreams

Once is a trace, and twice could be chance. A third appearance is when a symbol becomes worth reading as a pattern.

Mood map and insights

How your nights have felt

Each dream carries one of eight moods: peaceful, joyful, loving, sad, anxious, angry, confused or fearful. The mood map shows how your nights have felt over time, and a streak ring keeps count of your recording streak.

  • Weekly insight: a short read of your last seven nights
  • Deep Analysis: after 15 dreams, Luna reads your journal as a whole — recurring symbols, emotional patterns, insights and a few things to try that week
  • “Did you know?” cards: short facts about sleep and dreaming

None of this is a diagnosis. It's a mirror for the weeks behind you, meant for reflection.

Deep Analysis at 15 dreams

Luna waits until your journal holds 15 dreams before she reads it as a whole, so there is enough to go on.
